United Way Australia is part of a global network that believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Our focus is improving early literacy to enable children in disadvantaged communities to start school ready to read, learn and succeed in life. We do this by mobilising community organisations, corporate partners, government and individuals – stakeholders we believe must work together to overcome entrenched social issues – to leverage the full potential of the skills and resources each brings.
