Improving young people’s wellbeing

United Way works to improve access to quality health care and improve the overall health and welfare of individuals.

Currently, 1 in 4 young Australians aged 16–24 years  have a mental health disorder while only a quarter of them access mental health services; intervening in the teenage years is the most effective way to create positive and lasting change.

Through collaboration with our Health coalition community partners, we help deliver innovative services that positively inform and support young people, their families and communities with managing mental illness and sexual health awareness.
