POSTPONED: ANNOUNCING THE SECOND UNITED WAY COMMUNITY CUP IN MAY 2020!
Update: The 2020 United Way Community Cup has been postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis, keep an eye out for a new date or other ways you can get involved!
The Macquarie Park Business Community Partnership is a vibrant collaboration of businesses helping local young people reach their full potential through United Way’s ReadLearnSucceed program.
Thanks to this unique initiative, this year more than 700 children aged 0-5 will receive free books and reading resources, while 350 young people will be supported to transition to work or higher education. And together, we can achieve even more!
Following on from the success of our inaugural United Way Community Cup in 2019, we’re back for another year of ‘friendly’ competition, offering staff a fun way to connect with local businesses and the community while helping raise vital funds.
The Community Cup is a knockout soccer tournament. You can register a six-a-side team for $2,500. In the spirit of friendly competition, teams must be mixed.
Where: Christie Park, Macquarie Park
When: Thursday 7th May 2020
