Partnerships Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
• Working with corporate partners to maximise financial and non-financial contributions
• Maintaining all corporate partnerships engagement channels including workplace giving, employee volunteering, grants, sponsorship of events, partnered projects, advocacy initiatives and fundraising campaigns (with guidance from the Corporate Partnerships and Volunteering Manager -CPVM)
• Supporting the CPVM with Development and implementation annual corporate engagement plans to achieve set income targets and other key objectives
• Providing measurement and reporting on corporate partnerships
• Updating and maintaining donor and partnership records on UWA’s database
• Assisting with and developing materials/assets for use in UWA communication channels; social media, Annual reports, website etc
• Assisting with organisation of all volunteering, fundraising, networking and other UWA events
• Promoting United Way’s mission to government, NGO agencies, corporate partners and philanthropic organisations

Key Requirements:
• Experience in a fundraising, NFP corporate relationships, CSR or business development role
• Experience of managing corporate partnership relationships, donors and volunteers
• Experience in developing and implementing engagement programs with a range of stakeholders
• Experience writing letters, reports, presentations and sales pitches to donors or customers
• Using customer database management systems
• Developing effective networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Volunteering Coordinator

Location: Sydney

Put your strong organisational, logistic, and people skills to work for the common good with this exciting role!

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and deliver volunteering programs including a selection of Community reading days, Community Companionships, Events and celebrations, and high school mentoring opportunities.
• Undertaking event scoping exercises to determine suitability and OHS, link those projects with corporate partners, provide information to corporate partner volunteers, liaise with other project delivery staff, provide on the day volunteer coordination and execute high order project activities as well as manage post event Thank you and volunteer survey collection.
• Cultivate and maintain strong corporate, community and school relationships, working closely with key United Way stakeholders to ensure Community Impact requirements are met
• Improve efficiencies and deliver volunteer events within budget
• Ensure that volunteers are managed effectively and safely, including providing a briefing about United Way and safety
• Assess level of volunteer satisfaction with events, including monitoring survey feedback, and make adjustments to improve the level of volunteer satisfaction as required
• Provide regular quantitative and qualitative reports on volunteering by maintaining spreadsheets, salesforce and monitoring and collation of volunteer survey data through the year.

Key Requirements:
• Experience in volunteering, NFP, corporate and community relationships role
• Delivering programs within budget and achieving targets
• Developing effective networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
