Planning your career
Here, educators will find everything they need to teach a class on financial literacy to high school students. This is one of five Financial Literacy modules, each includes teaching guides and worksheets, they are free to download and ready to use.
BACK YOURSELF AND DREAM BIG
It can sometimes be challenging for students to aspire to a different lifestyle. Due to financial hardship many students don’t think it is possible for them to obtain qualifications, attend a TAFE or university, obtain a degree or pursue a professional career. However, once young people see they have options they are more likely to follow their dreams and live happier and more successful lives.
This module is designed to show students they can financially prepare themselves to achieve their dreams. The purpose of the learning activities is to show students the likely costs of further tertiary education and living costs while studying. The module’s activities involve a variety group of calculations, class discussions and internet based research.
