Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
The more books in the home, the better the school and life outcomes for children.
The research is clear – just 15 minutes a day of reading with a child is enough to help build the literacy and developmental skills needed to start school ready to read, learn and succeed.
That’s why United Way Australia is partnering with communities across the country to bring Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to thousands of children in some of our most vulnerable communities.
This monthly home delivered book program brings the magic of a library into the home, with a gift of a book every month free of charge to families before school begins. Every child in the program is given quality, physical books to keep for their very own, kickstarting a lifelong love of reading and helping them reach their full potential!
