Supporting early childhood literacy
Through a partnership with United Way Australia, your business can directly contribute to the success of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, aligning your company with a globally recognised program and demonstrating a commitment to early childhood literacy and education.
By working with United Way Australia and supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, businesses make a tangible impact on communities, promoting early childhood literacy and education. This impactful initiative fosters a love of reading and contributes to the educational journey of children across Australia and beyond.
Engaging your employees for change
The impact is continued through employee engagement opportunities for staff. Staff members can use their passion, expertise and resources to support the implementation of mentoring and transition to work programs inspiring High School students to discover the world of possibilities that exist after school.
Meaningful collaborations are enabled, where employees can experience the joy of giving back as they make a real difference to the lives of young people in their community – activating a process of permanent, positive change.
Being involved in mentoring, fundraising and community events is also fun. Participating in a walk-a-thon or soccer competition gives employees the opportunity to stretch their legs, enjoy the fresh air and network with their own colleagues and create connections with other companies.

For over 10 years the Macquarie Park Business Community Partners have enthusiastically invested their time, effort and money to support local residents and address pockets of need close to their offices.
These companies have all demonstrated extraordinary commitment to making a difference. As a result of this valuable initiative, the collaborative work across the Ryde community has helped fund the Imagination Library to over 3000 children, provided additional literacy programs, and have mentored hundreds of high school students as they explore pathways they will take after completing school, ensuring they are ready to succeed.
